Project Types We are undergoing a significant transition to larger scale institutional buildings and/or significant additions/alterations/renovations of institutional buildings. We are comfortable with College and University work particularly in settings where the institutions have well established Facility or Capital Project groups that require interface and collaboration. We are experienced in academic buildings, academic or corporate office fit-out, classrooms and auditoriums, teaching labs, and renovation work in historic settings. Much of our recent experience is with other architects on large scale institutional projects where we take on the responsibilities for the project development at the end of the design development phase. We are very aware of the needs of the construction management industry as it transitions from paper documents to BIM and are making a concerted effort to coordinate our BIM initiative so the models are collaborative in nature. Our goal is to fully support the construction management industry in their transition to BIM as a way of improving constructability, controlling cost, and eliminating some of the shop drawing burden in the construction phase. |
